At I Am Melanin Magic, we want you to love what you receive. We strive to provide every customer with a pleasing experience at each stage of the buying process. As a small business, we work hard to exceed expectations, keep prices affordable, and offer free shipping — all while minimizing the cost of potential abuse. Please review our return policy below.

✅ What You Can Return

• You may return unused, unopened products within 14 days of delivery.

• Items must be in their original packaging, unopened, and in sellable condition.

• Opening the packaging will limit your return eligibility (see exclusions below).

• Refunds are issued to your original payment method, minus shipping fees, third-party processing costs, and applicable restocking fees.

• Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to appear on your payment method.

⚠️ What You Can’t Return

• Used, opened, or tampered products

• T-shirts and other merchandise fulfilled by third-party vendors
  These items are handled through our Print-On-Demand partner. Please refer to the return policy included in your Print-On-Demand email receipt. We are not authorized to process apparel returns directly.

⚠️ Buyer’s Remorse Returns

Returns initiated within 5 days of delivery will be considered buyer’s remorse. These are only eligible if the original packaging is completely unopened.

In these cases:

• Original outbound and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund

• A restocking fee of up to 30% will apply

💸 Return Shipping Costs

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless we shipped the wrong item. This applies to both domestic and international orders.

• If a return label is provided by us, its cost will be deducted from your refund.

🕒 How to Request a Return

To request a return:

1. Email us at info@iammelaninmagic.com with:

   • Your order number

   • A brief reason for the return

   • A photo of the item and packaging

2. Wait for approval before returning the item.

3. Once approved, you may:

   • Use your own shipping label, or

   • Request a label from us (cost deducted from refund)

Refunds are processed within 10–14 business days after we receive and inspect the item(s).
